The Charles Lamb is celebrating the Royal Wedding with a traditional street party in the heart of Angel. Activities for both adults and children will include: old-fashioned jack games, Pétanque, relay races, retro sports day, dog shows and cake competitions, ensuring there’s something for everyone to enjoy on the day. Revelers can choose between a sit down banquet or hog roast buffet, washed down with a Royal punch, real ales or Charles Lamb own label wines.

Join the Duke for some traditional English fodder, themed ales and a Bloody Mary or two. Live wedding footage will be shown on a widescreen on a patriotically decorated patio where you can sit back, relax and enjoy a pint of the especially brewed Hog’s Back ‘Royal T.E.A.’. The Duke will also be holding a ‘Royal Quiz’ to see just how well you know your Monarchy. The day of the Royal Wedding will kick-off a weekend long beer festival at The Nightingale, featuring especially brewed Youngs ‘Celebration’ Ale.
