The UK’s most dog friendly pub?

Here’s one happy customer. Ted the dog, who turned 11 at the weekend and celebrated his birthday down the pub with the team at the Britannia Inn in Guildford, Surrey.

Ted celebrating his 11th birthday at the Britannia

He belongs to one of the pub’s regulars and has been visiting since he was a puppy. He always goes on a little hunt for fallen snacks when he arrives, but didn’t need to for his birthday as he was treated to a specially made pie for the occasion.

We hope you’ll join us in wishing him many happy returns 🎉🐾

Going, going…gone!

It took just two hours for a pub selling Britain’s most popular Sunday roast to sell out for the whole of 2024.

The Bank Tavern in Bristol is renowned for being the most difficult pub in the country to get a reservation.

They opened reservations for tables at 10am on New Year’s Day and by midday, all tables were taken.

Good luck for 2025, people!

Dec sings in the New Year down his local

Footage is emerging of Declan Donnelly using his very own local, the Badger in Ponteland, on New Year’s Eve, where he sang a rendition of Billy Joel’s Piano Man, in front of stunned local.

We’ll leave you to decide whether or not he peaked with Let’s Get ready to Rhumble, or not..
